 components (e.g. open access\, open research data or open educational res
 ources) and a number of aspects (e.g. open scientific infrastructures or 
 open engagement of societal actors) according to the UNESCO Factsheet Und
 erstanding Open Science (https://doi.org/10.54677/UTCD9302). \n\nThis lec
 ture will provide an overview on the European and German developments in 
 Open Science and will also touch on challenges when pursuing the objectiv
